Reach and leverage usually move together on a brake lever, and the LEWIS LHT-II is designed to pull them apart. Add a monoblock caliper and 4 x 17mm titanium and ceramic pistons, and it becomes a brake for riders who like to tune.

Reach that leaves your leverage alone

On a conventional lever, changing reach also changes the leverage ratio curve, so one fix can undo another. The LHT-II Precise Lever Reach Adjustment avoids that, which means you can set the lever for your hand and keep the feel you chose.

Order of adjustment on this lever

Turn the travel nut for reach, which needs no tools, then use a 2mm Allen key at the bite point. For leverage, loosen the locking screw and turn the bottom-mount knob, then lock it again once the brake feels right.

Pad changes with independent cooling fins

These fins are not fixed to the pad assembly, so no fin replacement comes with a pad change. The metallic pad code is not stated, though, so ask for the shape before stocking spares.

Intended uses include enduro, downhill, all-mountain, e-bike and dirtbike riding. Bleed with mineral oil and the LEWIS Bleed Kit, and add a suitable adapter for your frame and rotor.
