Fit Notes

• Sold as a pair, with a 90cm front hose and a 165cm rear hose.
• Set up as right front, left rear by default. You can swap to right rear, left front at home without bleeding.
• No-leak hose connectors come fitted.
• The cooling fins are separate from the pads, so they stay on the bike when you fit new pads.

Add 20 before you choose a rotor. That single rule sets the LEWIS LHP+ S6 apart, because this six-piston axial brake has a built-in +20 adapter caliper and is aimed at heavy mountain bikers and heavy e-bike riders.

Working out the rotor with the +20 caliper

Take your mount size and add 20 to find the rotor, so a 180mm direct mount brake seat needs a 200mm rotor with this caliper. Run the sum before ordering, because a rotor picked by habit will not line up with these pads.

Heavy rider or heavy bike, not a motorcycle

The S6 is positioned for enduro, downhill, all-mountain and E-MTB use with more mass to slow down. LEWIS keeps its EP6+ design for electric off-road motorcycles, so choose that line if your machine is one of those.

Living with EP-6 pads and ceramic insulation

Six 14mm pistons with ceramic insulation layers push on metallic EP-6 pads, which have an increased friction area for heat dissipation. Stock the same EP-6 shape as spares, because other LEWIS pad codes in this range are specified for different calipers.

Bleed with mineral oil and the LEWIS Bleeding Kit. Rotors stay a separate purchase, so check the sum once more when you add one.
