Brake Service and Bleeding Parts Guide
Look at your lever mark, then choose the kit. This page helps you pick the right parts and tools. Follow your brake manual for the service steps.
The Lever Mark Decides G1 or G2
LH4 and LHT brakes come in two generations, and their kits are not the same. Look for a mark on the lever.
AX, AE and LHP+ U4 Kits
These three kits have no G1 or G2 split. Each one covers both lever and caliper.

What the Bleed Kit Includes
Our bleed kit has two syringes, two hoses, a quick-release oil container with base, gloves, a four-piston caliper block, a road caliper block, a two-piston block, M5 fittings, a hose clamp and non-return clips.
It does not include fluid, so buy mineral oil or DOT to suit your brake.
A Small Funnel for Mineral Oil
Our outdoor bleeding funnel is 7075 T6 aluminum, measures 10cm x 2cm, weighs 18g empty and holds 10ml of mineral oil.
It is a compact add-on rather than a full bleed setup, so you still need the kit or your own tools.
Check the Fluid First
Your brake is specified for one fluid type, and the kit does not change that. The R2 is the one caliper we list for either.

While You Have the Brake Apart
Service time is a good moment to look at the parts around the seals. Worn items are easier to replace while everything is already off the bike.
- Check your pads and reorder from the brake pad guide.
- Look over your rotor and check the sizes in the rotor guide.
- Replace worn clamps or bolts from the parts by brake model page.
