This kit lets you renew the lever and caliper of an LHP+ U4 brake, including four 17mm HNBR caliper seals, with an exploded view of the brake open beside you. Part codes replace part names throughout, so the diagram is how you tell what each piece does.
Reading a kit written in part codes
Each line pairs a code with a quantity, such as CHS22 or COX315512, and the kit does not say what each code is. Lay the items out against your own LHP+ U4 parts drawing before you remove anything. If a code cannot be matched, ask first and leave that part of the brake alone until you know.
Two caliper groups and how to approach them
The main caliper group holds four 17mm HNBR seals plus three further codes. A second group of five codes, COX040601 to COX480816, is labeled for other batches, and no rule is given for telling batches apart. A sensible approach is to keep both groups sealed until the caliper is open and the old parts can be held against the new ones.
Lever codes on the LHP+ U4
Eight codes belong to the lever end, and CMF41-HNBR is the one that names its seal material. CTH01 comes with a higher count than the others, so count it when you unpack the kit. COX315512 appears in both the lever and the caliper groups, so label each one as you sort the kit.
- Named for the LHP+ U4 lever and caliper
- Four 17mm HNBR caliper seals in the main group
- Five extra part codes for other caliper batches
- Other LHP models are not named for this kit
- No fluid or bleed tools among the parts
Once every code has a place on your diagram, the LHP+ U4 job runs like any other lever and caliper service, with a bleed in the fluid your brake specifies at the end.
