LEWIS Matchmaker Direct Mount Adapter for SRAM Shifters

Fit Notes

• Weighs only 4g, and it replaces the shifter clamp, so the cockpit gets lighter and cleaner.
• Works on both left and right hand levers.
• Fits LEWIS LV and LH series brakes only.
• Sold as a single unit, so order two for both sides.

Taking a separate clamp off the bar is the point of this direct mount, which is suitable for use with SRAM Matchmaker shifters. It is made for LEWIS LV and LH series brakes.

Which brakes it fits

AE and AX brakes have their own LEWIS adapter, so owners of those brakes should look there. Brakes outside the LV and LH series are not supported by this one.

Does your shifter use SRAM Matchmaker?

The stated interface is SRAM Matchmaker, without any shifter models named. A quick look at the shifter documentation should tell you whether it has that mount or a band clamp of its own. If the shifter arrived with a separate clamp, check what it needs to convert before ordering.

Setting the two controls together

Because the adapter links shifter and lever, you set their position as one unit. Start with the brake lever at your normal reach, then look at where the shift paddles land under your thumb. If you have to move your grip to reach them, slide the pair inboard or outboard and try again, standing on the pedals as you would on a descent.

• Suitable for use in SRAM Matchmaker
• One-piece CNC cutting
• 7075 T6 aluminum body
• Silver/Black color
• Left and right sides named
• AE and AX brakes have a separate adapter

With the right part in hand, fitting comes down to finding a reach that suits both your braking finger and your shifting thumb, then tightening gradually.
