Adapter & Rotor Guard for Surron Light Bee and Talaria
Material: Constructed from 7075 aluminum alloy, CNC precision-cut to achieve high strength with a lightweight design.
Colors: Silver and Black
This LEWIS adapter and rotor guard is what puts an EP8+ rear brake on a Surron Light Bee or Talaria, and it gives the rotor some cover at the same time. It is CNC precision-cut from 7075 aluminum alloy, aimed at high strength with a lightweight design.
Cover for the rotor on rough ground
On a rocky trail the rear disc sits low, where roots and stones can reach it, and in general that is the job a rotor guard is there for. The adapter, meanwhile, sets where the EP8+ caliper sits relative to the rotor, so the two jobs are closely tied on the rear wheel.
What 7075 aluminum does in this spot
A rear adapter carries braking force between the caliper and the mount on the bike, which is why the 7075 alloy and its stated high strength matter at the back of the bike. Look the part over for scoring or loose bolts whenever you service the rear brake.
The one fit check before you order
The EP8+ rear brake is the only brake this part is specified for, on Surron Light Bee and Talaria bikes. Read the model on your caliper, then ask which rotor diameter the part suits and whether your Talaria model is covered, because a front caliper, another EP model or a different rotor is an unconfirmed fit.
- Puts an EP8+ rear brake on Surron Light Bee and Talaria bikes
- Cut from 7075 aluminum alloy by CNC
- Silver and black colors
- On the stand, the pads should land fully on the braking track
- Spin the wheel by hand and listen for guard or rotor contact
- Tighten to the torque values given for your bike and caliper
If anything rubs or the pads sit off-center, stop and recheck the mounting before you ride. A dragging rear brake is much easier to catch on the stand than on the trail.
